Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Lead Software Engineer, with proficiency in Typescript and JavaScript
  • Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, MVC, and other design principles
  • Deep expertise in algorithms
  • Experience with module bundlers (Vite, Webpack, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Git
  • Comfortable working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
  • Experience with performance tuning, distributed systems, and delivering high-availability, low-latency applications
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-team initiatives, fostering collaboration across multiple departments to achieve technical and product goals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A passion for delivering consistent, high-quality software that meets industry standards

SKILLS CONSIDERED AS AN ADVANTAGE:

  • Experience with Typescript
  • HTML Canvas or rendering libraries (PixiJS)
  • Tweening libraries such as GSAP
  • Testing frameworks to ensure your code is rock-solid

Responsibilities

  • Lead and take ownership of the software development life cycle across multiple projects
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor other engineers, and enforce engineering best practices
  • Drive architecture decisions, ensuring systems are scalable, maintainable, and performant
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure alignment on technical and product goals
  • Diagnose and resolve complex performance issues and bugs across the system
  • Stay on top of emerging technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team
  • Deliver high-quality, maintainable code, while continuously improving our processes and standards
