Requirements
- Experience or deep knowledge in broadcast environments - Live Casino or sports live streaming is a major plus
- Experience with video switchers, cameras and audio matrixes
- A solid understanding of how video flows from the camera/video matrix/encoder through the CDN to the end-user's device
- Strong command of streaming and networking protocols: RTMP, HLS, WebRTC, TCP/IP, UDP, and HTTP/HTTPS
- Ability to perform real-time analysis and root-cause identification in complex, distributed systems
- Expertise in Linux: Comfortable managing and configuring Debian or Ubuntu-based server environments
- Reliability: Readiness to contribute to a 24/7 production environment, ensuring our "always-on" entertainment never stops
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize broadcasting architectures specifically designed for the Live Casino studio environment.
- Physical installation of audio video equipment, rack layout, custom wiring, and commissioning of structural broadcast hardware and software.
- Create end-to-end system designs, signal flow diagrams, and functional schematics for audio and video equipment.
- Monitor system performance in real-time, identifying and resolving encoding issues before they impact the user experience
- Fine-tune delivery protocols (WebRTC, HLS, RTMP) to balance video quality with performance across different geographic markets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy hardware and software updates within a high-availability production ecosystem
- Administer Linux-based server environments (Debian/Ubuntu), ensuring the stability and security of our streaming nodes
- Embrace the challenge of supporting a 24/7 production environment where technical precision and quick response times are critical
