Scientific Games has named Rich Wasserman as Senior Vice President of Product Engineering. Wasserman brings more than 20 years of experience leading global engineering, data science and product organizations across complex, high-performance technology platforms, including Amazon and Facebook. In his new role, Wasserman will lead Product Engineering across Scientific Games' global product portfolio.
EdgeLabs, a leading B2B online gaming provider, has partnered with Hub88 to distribute its casino content to the aggregator's global operator network. The integration sees EdgeLabs' debut slot titles like Diamond 10x, Mark of Z, and Blue Bird Bonus go live on Hub88, with additional content planned to roll out every month.
Atlas World Sports, the sports betting platform that aggregates odds and data from more than 20 sportsbooks into a single app, announced the official launch of AtlasDFS, its new daily fantasy sports product. AtlasDFS is live now with the NBA and will expand to the PGA Tour and NHL in Q2, MLB in July, and the NFL this fall. The site uses a Pick'em format where users select More or Less on stat projections for two to six players per entry.
Gentoo Media has secured a €18 million committed shareholder loan facility to repay its existing revolving credit facility and strengthen financial flexibility, including a €16M pari passu facility maturing in 2027 and a €2M unsecured tranche. The Nasdaq Stockholm-listed iGaming affiliate also confirmed it will not proceed with its previously contemplated bond refinancing while continuing to assess alternative refinancing options.
DraftKings has officially launched its mobile sportsbook in Puerto Rico, expanding access to local residents following the earlier opening of its retail sportsbook at Foxwoods El San Juan Casino. Eligible users who complete in-person registration can access features including same-game parlays, live betting, and odds boosts, supported by the operator’s responsible gaming tools.
MGM Resorts and BetMGM have pledged more than $1 million toward responsible gaming programs, including $450,000 for independent sports wagering research through the International Center for Responsible Gaming. The initiative, launched for Problem Gambling Awareness Month, also expands GameSense messaging, employee training, and community partnerships across digital and land-based operations.
The U.S. commercial gaming industry generated a record $78.72 billion in gross gaming revenue in 2025, up 9.2% year-over-year, while contributing $18.09 billion in state and local gaming taxes, according to the American Gaming Association. Growth was driven by strong gains in sports betting and iGaming, with all 38 commercial markets reporting annual revenue increases.
DraftKings has received approval from the Arkansas Racing Commission to launch its mobile sportsbook in the state through a market access agreement with Southland Casino Hotel, pending final regulatory steps. The expansion brings DraftKings Sportsbook to its 30th U.S. state, extending coverage to more than 53% of the U.S. population.
Super Group reported full-year 2025 revenue of $2.2 billion, up 22% year-over-year, alongside Adjusted EBITDA of $559.5 million, reflecting a ~25% margin. The Betway and Spin parent also ended the year with $513.2 million in cash and introduced 2026 guidance targeting at least $2.55 billion in revenue.
Bragg Gaming Group approved a limited blackout waiver to allow CEO Matevž Mazij to complete a private block sale of 1,039,000 common shares at C$2.00 per share, generating approximately C$2.08 million in gross proceeds. Following the transaction, Mazij’s holdings decreased to 13.55% of outstanding shares, with the purchaser subject to a six-month lock-up.
