About This Event
For the fourth time, Finnish iGaming Events is organizing the only international gaming conference in Finland. The event continues to grow in popularity as Finland approaches the opening of its licensing market in 2027. As in previous years, the 2026 program will be comprehensive, offering broad insights and forward-looking perspectives from leading industry professionals.
Finland’s new gambling legislation has now completed the European Union’s notification process, which means we are entering a phase where concrete discussion and analysis are finally possible. As the Finnish Parliament begins processing the new law this spring, we will gain a much clearer understanding of the licensing model Finland is moving toward. By the time of the September 2026 conference, the outlook will be significantly sharper. Based on current information, the licensing system is expected to enter into force on January 1, 2027.
